Lowering springs or coilovers?

Interested in lowering my car (2003 Mazda 323 Protégé Shades) for aesthetic purposes, but not sure on whether to go for lowering springs or coilovers? Car is driven daily for on-road use and don’t want to sacrifice the handling or comfort of the ride.

If you are just using the car on the road for daily commuting etc, springs are all you need. General rule of thumb is springs for everyday road use, coilovers if you intend doing track days etc.
