Pro/cons on Japanese imported subaru engines?

I have a 1993 subaru legacy and need to replace my engine. I have found a lot of low mileage engines on-line imported from Japan and would like to know if there are any problems with installing them.

I DON'T KNOW!! I don't know much about cars... I just wanted to answer the question :) my mom used to have a Honda engine that was from Japan, and she LOVED it. And later we bought that same car, just later year, and it was Made in Alabama and it's horrible!!
