What features distinguish Jeep hard tops year to year?

I have a Jeep hard top that was given to me about 10 years ago. It did not fit my 1994 Wrangler. It has no manufacturer markings. It does want to fit doors with rounded corners.
I'd like to sell the top, but unless I can figure out what year it

The rounded corners protrude by year. The shaping of the sides also varies by cm per year.
You can take your top to a specialist who will be able to identify the year.
