how do i repair my polaris recoil starter?

i have a 93 polaris 350l that i had to remove the recoil off to repair my starter..now i cant get the recoil tension back on..

take it to a polaris shop. Springs can be crazy.
Never attempt to wind the powerband back up when it has been let out this far!
Wear safety glasses!
