How much would installation of a very basic remote starter cost?

I got my boyfriend a remote starter for Christmas. He is going to school for automotive technology and is in his first year. He has already done and completed electrical, but is still weary about installing it himself because of all the cutting and soldering

For something basic, in my area usually around 100 to install. You can usually find someone on craigslist who can do it on the side.

Also, maybe this time your boyfriend can watch the installer to see how he does it as well. Chances
