i have a 2005 impala and i was told i need a high out put alternator? i do have a pretty big system in there(2800 watts) but its not in stalled yet but someone was saying capacitor don't do what there suppose to do so they told me to get a high out put
if you want a high output one just install a alternator from a ss model, all the other impala's use a 105 amp model, but the ss used a 130 amp one...match that with a 2.5 fraud capacitor(they do work) and you should be fine.....ive ran twich that wattage
