toyota alternator price

My 2004 Pontiac Vibe burns at least a quart of oil each week! what can it be? it has 85,000?

I changed the pcv valve last week, changed old sparked plugs that were oily, and changed oil last week.
Today I put a quart of oil, because it was low again.

Chances are that the piston rings are worn down and need replacing.

without having the tool to get the covers off the plug ; and not moving the whole mtr forward ?
