Determining pump size for my pool?
I'm trying to determine what size 2-speed pump to buy for my pool. I'd like to reduce my overall electric bill and low-speed filtering sounds appealing. I'd probably only use the high speed for the SPA. I've got an approx. 25,000 (guestimated volume)
I'm actually surprised at the size of pump in there. A 1.5 hp would have sufficed, given the information you supplied. We built many pool/spa combos and never had an issue with using a Hayward Superpump 1.5. Our plumbing arrangements sound similar to
