zenoscript Electric Hubcap Outboard hits the water, Nov. 6th 2010.

Motor runs great, but hits max RPM (~1750) at a low boat speed. 3/4 of the motor's potential power is unused. Propeller, geared-down 2.75:1 inside leg, needs to turn faster.

A nearby boat's starter motor makes more noise than the electric outboard!
